Article on patent research by V.V. Shvedova and F.S. Ivanov in the journal “Intellectual Property”, 1/2020

The article “Updating GOST R 15.011-96 “System of products development and launching into manufacture. Patent investigations. Procedure and scope”, written by Vera Vladimirovna Shvedova, Ph.D., associate professor of the Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property, and Fedor Sergeyevich Ivanov, a specialist of the Department of legal protection of the inventions and utility models of “NEVA-PATENT Ltd.”, is published in the journal “Intellectual Property. Industrial Property”, No. 1, 2020.

The article deals with updating GOST R 15.011-96 “System of products development and launching into manufacture. Patent investigations. Procedure and scope”, wherein mentioned are an analysis of the regulations of the current edition and proposals for the modification of its sections and annex. The authors paid special attention to ensure the unity of terminology, specifying the objectives (types) of patent research, eliminating obsolete fragments, and maintaining relevant and useful regulations.
